About

Candy Crawford, MSW, LCSW, is an educator and international consultant on Sensory Processing Sensitivity (High Sensitivity). Her goal is to support the flourishing of Highly Sensitive people and those around them. To that end, Candy offers one-on-one consulting, small group education sessions, as well as workshops and retreats to promote individual and organizational acceptance and appreciation of the trait of high sensitivity.

With degrees from Northern Illinois University and University of Illinois at Chicago, multiple specialized certificates, and decades of experience in the field of Sensory Processing Sensitivity, Candy combines her formal training with heart, grace, openness, and insight. Located in the Chicagoland area, Candy focuses much of her work in the Midwest, but also travels and presents domestically and internationally. Her areas of focus include:

Triving at the Riverbank

Thriving at the Riverbank is at the heart of Candy’s work as an HSP advocate. These intimate groups meet monthly on topics tailored to support the flourishing of highly sensitive individuals in an overwhelming world.

Consultation

Learn about trait in general. Can be in person or via Zoom. I consult with individuals and/or groups. Clients do not have to be residents of Illinois.

Workshops & Conferences

I teach half day, full day and weekend
workshops on various facets of the trait.
